Short Description
A series of digital portrait works balancing sculptural depth and impossible form.
Long Description
ORTHOGRAPHICS is a series of computer-generated portraits made through orthographic rendering. Perspective is removed, so depth no longer recedes in the usual way. Faces, heads, and bodies are compressed into flat sculptural fields. Familiar features remain visible while their scale and position break from a stable human form. Skin becomes pattern, mesh, liquid, fur, or synthetic surface. Figurative image and abstraction occupy the same body. Each portrait holds recognition and reconstruction in the same image. A person remains present as the image reorganizes them into something physically impossible.
