Short Description
A generative Sumi-e landscape composed through ink, mist, water and empty space.
Long Description
Dio is a generative landscape series created by Ronen Tanchum and Ori Ben Shabat for the 2023 Blind Gallery Vistas Edition, made in collaboration with Feral File. The work translates the visual language of Sumi-e painting into a system of mountains, water, mist, pines, blossoms, birds, and red or black suns. Each output follows the same visual grammar. Composition, density, color, and frame change from one image to the next.
